Some UAE residents reported issues with WhatsApp on Friday, February 28.
Hundreds of users took to downdetector.ae to report that they encountering issues with the social media messaging application at around 7pm.
As of 7.37pm, nearly 900 users had reported issues with the app and with sending messages to other receivers.
