The Pakistan cricket team has been getting upset since the Champions Trophy being held in its own house before being out in the first round before 2025. Everyone is criticizing the Pakistani team, but Yograj Singh, father of former star all -rounder of the Indian cricket team, Yograj Singh, surrounded former Pakistani players like Wasim Akram, Waqar Yunus and raised questions as to why they do not help the team. Now Wasim Akram's answer has come on this and he also exposed the PCB.
Pakistan had to face defeat to New Zealand and India in the group stage of the Champions Trophy. Due to this, the Pakistani team was eliminated from the first round despite being the host. This is the third consecutive ICC tournament, in which Pakistan did not move beyond the group stage. Obviously, the team has to face criticism due to this. But while everyone is targeting players, cricket boards and coaching staff, former Indian Pesar Yograj had raised questions on the former players as to why they do not come forward for help and only make rhetoric.
For this, now former Pakistani captain and great bowler Wasim Akram has replied and told why he does not go for coaching. Wasim gave an example of his partner former fast bowler Waqar Yunus while talking on the subject during a discussion of a YouTube channel and accused the Pakistani board of misconduct. Akram said that people accuse him that he only speaks and does not do anything, but the Pakistani pacer made it clear that the way Waqar Younis was suddenly removed by the board, he is derogatory, which he cannot tolerate. Akram said, "You people (PCB) do bad and I cannot bear it."
Former left hand veteran Pesar made it clear that he is ready to help Pakistani players even without taking any money. Akram bluntly told the PCB that whenever there is a big tournament, he can be available for the players for help in the training camp, but at the age of 58, he is not ready for such insults nor does he want to live any kind of pressure, that is why they are unable to join the Pakistani team.
