Passport Rules Changed: The government has changed the rules regarding passports. Now birth certificate will be necessary to get a passport. These people will still get an exemption. Know the new rules.

It is very important for people to have some documents to live in India. In India, I definitely need something every day somewhere for some work. There are different types of documents according to different needs.

Documents like PAN card, voter card, Aadhar card, driving license and passport are necessary in these. Some documents are such. If you do not have them, you can use other documents. But they are specially made for special works.

For example, if anyone has to travel abroad. Then it is very important to have a passport without a passport, no one can travel abroad. To get a passport, one has to go through a fixed process in India.

A passport in India is issued by the Ministry of External Affairs. For which there are 36 passport offices. One has to go here and apply for passport. For which some important documents also have to be submitted.

The government has changed the rules regarding passport. Now birth certificate has been implemented for getting a passport. However, this rule will not apply to all people.

The central government has made changes in the Passport Act and has made birth certificates mandatory for people born on or after 1 October 2023. Without that, those people will not be able to apply for a passport.

However, still, those who are born before 1 October 2023. They can get a passport by giving optional documents like their driving license or school leaving certificate as proof of date of birth in place of birth certificate.
