HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?

Educational Qualification- Candidates who wish to apply for these posts should have a good academic record with a Master's degree with 55 percent marks in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university. All candidates should have knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to matriculation level or higher education.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates applying should be between 21 years to 42 years within 15 days of the month preceding the last date of submission of applications.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Application Fees: What is the application fee?

The application fee for male candidates is Rs 1000 and female candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. Category wise application fee can be paid through net banking, debit card and credit card.

HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Selection Process: What is the selection process?

The selection process for these posts includes screening test, subject knowledge test, interview/viva-voce. 100 objective type questions will be asked in the screening test, for which a total time of 2 hours will be given. The total marks of the exam will be 100 and each question will have five options (A, B, C, D and E). Keep in mind, one-fourth marks will also be deducted as negative marking for every wrong answer. Therefore, candidates should answer the questions thoughtfully.

At the same time, the duration of the subject knowledge test will be 3 hours and the total marks will be 150, while the weightage of the interview will be 12.5 percent. The first merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the subject knowledge test and interview/oral examination.
