According to reports, the majority of customers are having issues accessing their mobile and online , and some are also having issues making payments.

Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed it is aware of the issue affecting Halifax, Lloyds and the Bank of Scotland in response to a customer query on X - formerly . The Post read: "We know some of our customers are having issues logging on to internet banking and our app. We're sorry for this, and we're working to get everything back to normal."
First Direct also acknowledged it posting: "We understand some customers are having issues making payments right now. We’re really sorry and are investigating as a matter of urgency. We will share an update as soon as possible."
The issue has hit people once again on the final day of the month when lots of Brits are getting paid and many are paying their monthly bills. Another customer said they needed to make some "urgent payments" and Lloyds needed to sort the problem out soon. A TSB customer shared: "Oh, what’s that…. payday and @TSB is DOWN AGAIN!!!!!?! Absolute shambles this bank like." A fellow Halifax customer added: "@HalifaxBank can’t log in. Seems a lot affected by searching X. What’s the latest? I need to get onto my bank urgently." A fourth customer said: "Whats going on please - it's payday and I cannot send my regular payments. This is going to be problematic for me."
Customers fumed online as the outages had hit multiple major banks, with many asking why the issue continued to occur each payday. One person said: "It's that thing called again, todays victims are, Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of , and TSB. happy online bankers."
Another added: "I saw this tweet and just checked myself because my Halifax and Bank of Scotland are also inaccessible and sure enough, TSB too?! What's going on with the banks?!" A third said: "If you look on down detector it looks like several UK Banks are having payment issues - a little worrying if you ask me!" All banks have been approached by the for comment.
