Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has firmly denied reports linking her to an alleged ₹2.4 crore cryptocurrency fraud, calling them baseless and misleading. In response to the rumors, she clarified that she has no connection to the scam and intends to take legal action against the spread of false information.
In an official statement, Tamannaah urged both the public and the media to refrain from circulating unverified claims. She stated, “It has come to my attention that rumors are being circulated alleging my involvement in cryptocurrency dealings. I request my friends in the media not to spread such fake, misleading, and false reports. In the meantime, my team is looking into the matter to take appropriate action.”
The actress also expressed disappointment over the false allegations, emphasizing the importance of responsible journalism.
The controversy arose after reports surfaced suggesting that both Tamannaah Bhatia and fellow actress Kajal Aggarwal might be summoned by the Puducherry police for questioning in connection with the cryptocurrency scam. However, no official confirmation has been provided regarding any such summons.
On the professional front, Tamannaah was last seen in Sikandar Ka Muqqadar, alongside Avinash Tiwary and Jimmy Sheirgill. She is now gearing up for her upcoming horror-thriller Odela 2, set to release soon.
The incident highlights the growing issue of misinformation in the digital era, with celebrities frequently becoming targets of unverified speculation. Tamannaah’s swift response and legal stance reflect her determination to counter baseless accusations and protect her reputation.
