Material:
500 grams of carrots (grated)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar (as per taste)
1/4 cup ghee
4-5 cardamom (powder)
10-12 cashews, almonds (chopped)
2 spoon raisins
1/4 teaspoon fennel (optional)
Method:
Prepare carrots: First of all wash and peel the carrot and then grate it.
Frying carrots: Heat 2 teaspoons of ghee in a pan. Then add grated carrots to it and fry it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes, so that the carrot becomes soft.
Add milk: Now add 1 cup of milk and mix it well. Cook the milk with carrots, until the milk dries completely and dissolves in the carrot (cook for about 10–15 minutes).
Add sugar: Now add sugar to it and mix well. After adding sugar, let it cook for 5-10 minutes, so that the sugar dissolves the pudding thick.
Add ghee: Then add 2-3 spoon of ghee to it and mix well. Cook the halwa until it starts leaving ghee.
Do decoration: Now add cardamom powder, chopped cashews, almonds, raisins and fennel (if you are put) and mix well.
Serve: Carrot pudding is ready. Serve it hot.
Delicious carrot pudding is ready, you can serve it after dinner or on a particular occasion.
Please note that you can reduce or less sugar in halwa, it depends on your taste.
