As the crescent moon was sighted in Saudi Arabia, the Ramazan shall commence from March 1 and in correspondence to India, it shall begin from March 2. This is the time for self reflection, foster a sense of spirituality and community, be kind, emphathise,  and spread love and laughter all around. During the month, devotees observe a day long fast. People eat at sehri, that before day break and fat until the sunset. It is then they break the fast and the meal is called Iftar.
