The reunion of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, who co-starred in the beloved romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally,” was one of the most iconic moments of the 2025 Oscars.

The nine-time Oscar presenter Crystal couldn’t help but jest about his return to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the site of the 97th Academy Awards.

He joked, “I used to work here,” adding that this month marks 35 years since he hosted for the first time.

The true magic, however, occurred when Crystal brought up one of his most famous quotes from “When Harry Met Sally.”
He brought the house down during the event by saying, “You want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible when you have a chance to be an Oscar winner for the rest of your life.”

When they gave ‘Anora’ the Best Picture prize, Ryan and Crystal’s relationship was still evident.
