APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will end the application procedure for the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment under the Public Works Roads Department (PWRD) & Public Works (Building & NH) Department today, March 4. Candidates who haven't submitted their application form yet can do so by visiting the official website of APSC at apsc.nic.in.

The commission has issued some important points regarding the vacancies in the official notification. This recruitment intends to fill 650 Junior Engineer (JE) posts.

APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants need to be aged 21 to 40 as of January 1, 2025. According to government regulations, designated categories can have their upper age limit relaxed.

2. Aspirants must have a three-year diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering and Planning, or Construction Technology from an AICTE-approved technical institute.

Application fees vary by category. General category aspirants have to pay Rs. 297.20, whereas OBC/MOBC applicants must pay Rs. 197.20. SC/ST/BPL/PWBD applicants pay a total cost of Rs. 47.20.

APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: Documents required

At the commencement of the interview, the applicant must present a printed copy of the online application, the following original documents/certificates, self-attested copies, and any other items listed in the notification letter or interview admit card; otherwise, they will not be permitted to attend the interview:-

a) The Central/State Board's Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card, Pass Certificate, and Marksheet.

b) Mark sheets and certificates for every exam taken from HSLC onwards to the qualifying exam level.

c) As evidence of the stated level of study, a degree or diploma certificate and mark sheets for each academic year are required. Mark sheets and provisional certificates will also be accepted.

d) A caste certificate from the Assamese government, issued to a candidate seeking reservation as an SC, ST, OBC, or MOBC, clearly identifies the candidate's caste, the Act or Order that recognizes it, and the village or town where the candidate typically resides.

e) A BPL certificate from the Assamese government, if applicable.
