Mumbai, March 4 (IANS). Actress Yami Gautam spoke openly with news agency IANS on several issues. During this time, he told why he decided not to do big budget films and why did he rejected such films.

The actress said that she has always given priority to content-driving cinema. When asked if he had ever rejected a big film due to lack of good script, Yami said, “Yes.” However, he did not name the project he rejected. Considering his decision, Yami said, “Every decision is taken carefully. In both personal and professional, I am grateful to spend time on the project that really join me, I join the story.”

The actress also thanked her audience for the honor and praise. He said, “I am happy that the audience respects it and they appreciate me for my work instead of the film's scale.”

Yami Gautam also told what kind of script she likes. The actress said, “I trust my knowledge and acting. I try not to be very comfortable. I do not analyze too much. After reading the script, whether it is excited or challenged me, it prepares my decision to do or not.

Talking about the workfront, the actress recently appeared in the film 'Dhoom Daham', in which she played the role of a Sushil and cultured Koyal Chadha. In the romantic-comedy, Yami is accompanied by Prateek Gandhi. The film was released on Netflix on 14 February 2025.
