Registration for the NEET PG counselling 2024 special stray vacancy round has begun, according to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Students can apply online using the MCC web portal if their National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET-PG) score is in the 5 percentile or higher. The authorities will only accept online applications for the NEET PG 2024 counselling registration; offline applications will not be permitted. All interested and qualified students can now register for the NEET PG 2024 counselling at mcc.nic.in.Important dates:Registration Dates: March 6 to 8, 2025Choice Filling & Locking: March 6 to 10, 2025Seat Allotment Result: March 12, 2025Admission & Reporting: March 13 to 20, 2025Eligibility criteria:Candidates must not have been assigned or enrolled in any seats during the previous NEET PG 2024 counselling rounds, including those at deemed universities, state quotas, or the All India Quota (AIQ). For all categories, candidates must have a percentile score of at least 5%. Eligible individuals are those who have already obtained and enrolled in a seat in a previous AIQ/state counselling round or recognised university.Additionally ineligible are candidates who were given a seat in the preceding stray vacancy round or AIQ round 3 but chose not to participate.How to fill the form:Step 1: Go to mcc.nic.in, the MCC's official website. Step 2: Click the "NEET PG 2024 New Registration" link that appears on the screen after selecting the "PG Medical" section. Step 3: Enter the required information, such as your name, mother's name, DOB, security pin, and NEET PG roll and application numbers. Step 4: Access the candidate portal by logging in with the assigned credentials. Step 5: Enter your personal and academic information on the NEET PG application form 2024. Step 6: Pay the registration costs for NEET PG 2024 counselling. Step 7: Carefully review all the additional information before submitting the application.Security Deposit:Candidates must pay a refundable security deposit to participate in this round.For Deemed Universities: ₹3,00,000For Government Seats (AIQ): ₹50,000If a candidate fails to secure a seat, they will lose their security deposit.Such candidates will also be barred from appearing for the NEET PG exam next year.
