Washington, DC: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and Starlink, said on Sunday that if he “turned off” his Starlink system, which has been crucial in sustaining military communications for the war-torn country, the whole frontline of Ukraine‘s defense system would collapse.
Musk describes the Starlink system as the “backbone” of the Ukrainian army and claims he is “sickened” of “years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose.”
“My Starlink system is the foundation of the Ukrainian army, and I have physically challenged Putin to a one-on-one fight for Ukraine. If I turned it off, their whole front line would fall. Years of carnage in a deadlock that Ukraine will unavoidably lose is what disgusts me. The meat grinder should halt if anybody really cares, thinks, and comprehends. Musk wrote, “PEACE NOW!” on X.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, was accused by Elon Musk earlier on March 3 of desiring a “forever war” with Russia.
“Zelensky wants a forever war, a never-ending graft meat grinder,” Musk wrote on X. This is wicked.
To maintain peace and bolster security, President Zelenskyy said that his nation is “continuously” collaborating with its allies, such as the United States and Saudi Arabia.
“A lot of work” would be done with its allies to “accelerate” peace with Russia, Zelenskyy said in a post on X.
“We keep concentrating on the required actions while collaborating with partners that share our desire for peace. There will be a lot of work in Europe, the United States, and Saudi Arabia next week. We are getting ready for a conference to speed up peace and fortify the security foundations.” On X, Zelenskyy wrote.
“There has been a lot of conversation and serious work with President Trump’s staff today at several levels. Peace as soon as feasible and security as consistently as possible are the obvious topics. Ukraine is totally dedicated to a positive strategy,” he said.
Prior to this, US President Donald Trump said that unless a “ceasefire and a final peace settlement agreement” with Ukraine are achieved, he is “strongly considering large-scale banking sanctions and tariffs” on Russia.
On Truth Social on Friday, Trump wrote, “Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely” pounding “Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large-scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a ceasefire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED.”
“To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late,” he said.
