He is coming up with a film named 'Sitare Zameen Par', which has been in discussion for a long time. Recently, Javed Akhtar talked about his film at the 'Cinema Ka Jadugaar' event.
Aamir's birthday is on March 14. He will celebrate his 60th birthday. On this special occasion, a film festival named 'Cinema Ka Jadugar' is going to be held for his contribution to cinema, in which 22 of his old films will be shown again. Recently, an event was organized regarding this film festival, in which along with Aamir, Javed Akhtar also participated.
Javed Akhtar talked about Aamir's upcoming film. He said, "A movie is about to release, whether it is a multiplex or a single screen theatre, that movie will run and people will like it. He (Aamir) is making that movie right now. I am putting forth my point. I know you people will not forget. When I am proven right, come and salute me."
Javed Akhtar did not name any film here, but there is a buzz that he is talking about 'Sitare Zameen Par', because this is the film in which Aamir will be seen in a full-fledged role. Aamir is also making some other films including 'Lahore 1947', but he is just producing them. Or it is possible that he may be seen doing a cameo in them.
'Sitare Zameen Par' was earlier scheduled to release in theatres in December 2024, but later the makers postponed it to the year 2025. Now it has not been announced yet when this film will be released this year. This film is a sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par' which came in the year 2008.
