The Bollywood industry has so many love stories that if they are put together, they can become a whole book. Two characters of these stories are music composer and filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj and his wife singer Rekha Bhardwaj. Their story has not come in front of the people much, so very few people know about it.

However, before they met, their stories were on completely different tracks. While Vishal was preparing to become a cricketer, Rekha was working hard to make a career in music. But fate had something else in store for both of them. Vishal never had any interest in music while playing cricket.

However, both of them were busy preparing for their careers in Delhi. Vishal was a state level cricketer from Uttar Pradesh, while Rekha was liked by people a lot because of her singing. But, how this turn came in their lives is quite different. Actually, Vishal's thumb got injured during an accident, due to which he had to leave cricket.

After this, he took admission in Hindu College of Delhi University. Rekha also studied in the same college and was quite famous among the people because of her voice. After some time, Vishal started taking interest in music and started learning harmonium and other instruments.

The two did not meet for a long time, but then an annual function was held in their college where they met for the first time, this was the year 1984. Slowly they became friends and with friendship their relationship turned into love. But it was not easy for them, while Vishal loved Rekha, Rekha considered him only as a friend.

But, with his poems and Shayari, Vishal succeeded in winning Rekha's heart. Later in the year 1991, Rekha and Vishal got married, after which both of them got recognition as the power couple of Bollywood. Both of them have given many amazing songs together. Rekha and Vishal also have a son, who is also in the music industry. Talking about both the stars, they have given many superhit songs together, which include the names of many amazing songs like Namak Ishq Ka, Ghaghra, Kabira, Sasural Genda Phool, Phir Le Aaya Dil.
