Aamir Khan recently attended an event in Mumbai. Talking about the film Lage Raho Munnabhai he said When Raju wrote the script he wanted me to be a part of that film. The day he came to tell me the script. At that time he told me that I was going to tell you in the script of the film. It has been changed and now it is the script of Munna Bhai 2 i.e. Lage Raho Munna Bhai. So now I dont have any script to tell you.
Aamir Khan further said “I asked him what the original story was. He told me that before India got independence there was a young man. Who was a freedom fighter? He participated in the movement under the leadership of Gandhiji. Once during a lathi charge he gets hit on the head and goes into a coma. Then he wakes up after 40-45 years. In the meantime India got independence. But he still feels stuck in that time that’s why he talks to Gandhiji. He doesn’t know that Gandhiji has been assassinated. This was the real script of the film.”
