Dahi vada recipe: Some special dishes are made in every house on Holi, one of them is Dahi Vada. It is very easy to make. Make your favorite street food with this easy recipe! To make Bada, soak urad dal and grind it, then give it the shape of Bada and deep fry it. After this, serve by adding curd, chutney, and chaat masala on top. Ingredients for making vadas:

¼ cup urad dal, soaked for 5-6 hours

Oil for frying

½ cup curd

2 tsp salt

2 tsp cumin powder

2 tbsp roasted coriander leaves, beaten

¼ tsp black pepper powder

½ tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp black salt Chat Masala, for garnishing

Method for making vadas:

1. Beat the dal batter well to make it light and fluffy. Heat the oil.

2. Fry the vadas on medium flame till they turn golden brown.

3. Remove from oil and dip in salted water.

4. Make vadas in the same way with the remaining batter.

5. Mix salt, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander leaves, and black pepper powder in curd.

6. Remove the fried vadas from the water and squeeze them lightly to remove excess water. Place them in a serving dish.

7. Cover the vadas with curd mixture. Sprinkle remaining cumin powder, coriander leaves, red chili powder, black salt, and chaat masala and serve.
