The facility to update the photo is not available online. To do this, you have to go to your nearest Aadhar enrollment center. You cannot update your photo from home.
Steps to update your Aadhaar card photo:
Visit UIDAI website
Visit the official UIDAI website (Uidai.Gov.In) and log in to your account.
Download the Aadhaar enrolment form.
After logging in, download the Aadhaar enrolment form and fill in the required details.
Submit the form at the nearest Aadhaar center
Take the completed form to your nearest Aadhaar enrolment center. The staff at the center will guide you on the next steps.
Biometric details and photo capture
At the center, the staff will collect your biometric data, including fingerprint and iris scan. They will also take your new photo.
Payment
There is a nominal fee of Rs 25 + GST for updating your Aadhaar photo.
Get URN
After the update, you will receive a slip from the center with a unique URN (Update Request Number).
Check photo status
You can use the URN to track the status of your photo update. This will help you confirm if your new photo has been updated successfully.
Download the updated Aadhaar card.
Once the update is complete, you can download the updated Aadhaar card with the new photo from the official UIDAI website.
