The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started the application process for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). UPSC CAPF 2025 Selection Process: How will the selection be done?

The applicants will be selected through written examination etc. The written examination is scheduled for 3 August 2025. There will be two papers in the exam. Paper 1 will be from 10 am to 12 noon and Paper 2 will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. The first paper will be on general ability and intelligence and will be of 250 marks. The questions in this paper will be objective type. At the same time, Paper 2 will be on general studies, essays, and comprehension and will be of 200 marks. After the written examination, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Interview, and Medical Examination will be conducted.
