Delhi News: Delhi Police has detained two Bangladeshi citizens living illegally. Both have been identified as Mohammad Bilal (55) and Mohammad Farooq (26). Both are father-son in relation. They are residents of Marolganj village in Khulna district of Bangladesh and were living in the new colony of Filmistan in Sadar Bazar, Delhi. According to the police, Mohammad Bilal was detained on March 7. Also, Mohammad Farooq was detained on March 10.
During the search,
the police also found an Indian voter ID card from Bilal, which has been sent for cancellation. The police is investigating how the voter card found with them was issued. At present, the police is interrogating both of them, so that it can be known since when they have been living in India and what was their purpose. Along with this, the police is also finding out how many more people are involved in this illegal activity. Sadar Bazar police station is seriously investigating the whole matter.
How did they come to India?
DCP (North) Raja Banthia said that we have detained 2 Bangladeshis. Strict action will be taken by Delhi Police against people living illegally in India. He told that Bilal and Farukh are originally from Bangladesh, who were living illegally in India. Right now investigation is going on as to how they came to India? How did they get the documents made? DCP said that Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in the country are being identified. Both father and son were deported in 2012, but Bilal's trial was going on in some case in India. Right now we are investigating the matter as to how they came to India.
