Metro Timings On Holi: Metro is no less than a boon for the people living in Delhi-NCR. Every day lakhs of passengers travel through Delhi Metro. Now the metro operates not only in Delhi but also in other big cities of India. If we talk about it, many cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Kochi and Pune are included. But the timings of the metro are changed by the metro authorities on some special occasions.
Like on the occasion of festivals. There is a big festival like Holi in the month of March. Most offices are closed on this day. On the day of Holi, metro timings of cities like Delhi-Agra, Lucknow-Kanpur to Mumbai-Bengaluru will also change. Let us tell you. From when to when will the metro run in these cities on the day of Holi.
Delhi Metro will start at this time
Generally, if we talk about the timing of Delhi Metro, then the metro starts at 5:00, 5:30 in the morning and runs till 11:30, 12:00 in the night. But on the day of Holi, there will be a lot of changes in the timing of the metro. Delhi Metro will start at 2:30 in the afternoon instead of starting at 5:30 in the morning on Holi. It will continue till 10:30 in the night. Let us tell you that this timing of the metro is for March 14. From March 15, the metro will start at its scheduled time and will run till the scheduled time.
Change in timing of other cities including Agra
Apart from the metro, changes will be seen in the timing of the metro running in other different cities as well. Agra Metro is currently operating in a limited area. But its timing will also be changed on Holi. The first metro will start at 2:30 pm instead of morning. Kanpur Metro is expected to start at 2:30 pm instead of its regular time.
Timings will also change in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad.
On Holi, while the metro in Delhi-Noida will run at a different time, the timings of the metro will also be changed in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. According to my information, Mumbai Metro, Bengaluru Metro and Hyderabad Metro will start at 2:30 pm on Holi i.e. 14 March. Before this, metro service will remain closed on all lines.
