Deobandi Ulema Maulana Qari Isaq Gora of Saharanpur said that Darul Uloom Deoband has appealed to Sarva Samaj to maintain restraint and peace on the day of Holi. In this sequence, he told the Muslims that on the day of Holi, he should offer prayers in the mosque near his house. After this, he should worship inside his homes. He has also appealed to people not to get out without reason and not get into any rumor. On the other hand, Maulana Farangi Mahali in the capital Lucknow has also announced to extend the time of prayer.
At the same time, Imam Syed Masoom Ali Azad, the city of Moradabad, released the video and said that Namaz will be read at two and a half hours instead of one o'clock. Said that the procession of Holi starts from GIC and comes out from Faiz Ganj, Paan Dariba, Mandi Chowk, Amroha Gate, Chaumukha Bridge till Town Hall. This procession will end by two and a half o'clock. Similarly, Rampur city Kazi Syed Khushanud Mian also said that on March 14, due to Holi, he appealed to offer Namaz at 2.30 pm. He has urged mosques across the district to change the time of Namaz.
