On March 9, India ended their 12-year wait for an ICC ODI title by defeating New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai. It marked India's third Champions Trophy crown and added another ICC title to the names of stalwarts Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja — their first in the 50-over format since 2013.
However, these cricketing legends also made fans happy by not announcing their retirements after the victory. This has only made fans curious if they will be part of the ODI World Cup just two-and-a-half years away - 2027. With several months left, let's have a look India's road to World Cup 2027.
