Champions Trophy 2025 was organized in Pakistan and now this country is going to organize another big ICC tournament next month. The ICC has announced the schedule of the Women's ODI World Cup qualifier. According to this schedule released on 14 March, this tournament will be played on two grounds in Lahore. The first match will be held on 9 April and the final will be played on 19 April. 6 teams will participate in this tournament, out of which two teams will have to qualify for the main event to be held in India in October-November. Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and hosts India have already qualified for the World Cup by making it to the top 6 in the ICC Women's Championship (2022-25).
Four full member countries will compete with Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan and West Indies Associate countries Scotland and Thailand in the Women's ODI World Cup qualifiers. This tournament will be of 15 matches. Bangladesh, Ireland, Pakistan and West Indies have arrived in the qualifier due to ICC to ranked seventh to tenth in the Women's Championships. At the same time, Thailand and Scotland have made it to this tournament by securing two best positions in the ICC Women's ODI team rankings till 28 October 2024.
West indies and Pakistan will be among the sixes who will give it their all next month to secure the two remaining spots in the women's @cricketworldcup 2025
