Holi 2025 : Holi is about to mold and colors are speaking. After playing Holi throughout the day, hunger also looks fierce. Traditional dishes are usually made in homes today. The festival is enjoyed with dishes like Gujhiya, Puri-Aloe vegetable, kachori, jackfruit vegetable, pakoras, curd big. Cold millet kheer

Material:
½ cup millet (soaked overnight)
2 cup milk
½ cup coconut milk (optional)
4 cup jaggery or honey
2 tablespoon cold powder
1 tablespoon chopped almonds, pistachios and cashews
½ tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp desi ghee
4-5 saffron threads (soaked in hot milk)

Method:

Heat the ghee in a pan and fry it lightly by adding soaked millet.
Add 2 cups of water to it and let it cook on low flame until the millet becomes soft.
Now add milk and coconut milk to it and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add cold powder and cardamom powder, mix well.
Add jaggery to it and keep stirring continuously so that the jaggery dissolves well.
Add chopped fruits and saffron threads, cook on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Serve the kheer cold or light lukewarm.
Millet is rich in fiber and iron, which is beneficial for digestion and energy.

Paan shake

Material:
4-5 fresh betel leaves
2 cups of cold milk
2 tablespoon jaggery or honey
1 tsp fennel
4-5 almonds
1 tablespoon gulkand
½ tsp cardamom powder
Snowfall

Method:
Put all the ingredients in the mixer and blend it well.
Prepare a smooth shake and filter it and pour it into the glass.
Put chopped dry fruits and rose petals on top and serve cold.
This drink maintains digestion and cools in summer.

Makhana coconut laddu

Material:
1 cup makhana (flower makhana)
½ cup coconut grated
½ cup dates paste or jaggery
2 tablespoon ghee
1 tablespoon chopped fruits (almonds, cashews, walnuts)
½ tsp cardamom powder

Method:
Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the makhanas until it becomes light golden.
After cooling, grind them coarsely in the mixer.
Heat a little ghee in a pan, add date palm paste or jaggery and melt it.
Add ground makhana, coconut, cardamom and dry fruits to it and mix well.
Make small laddus from this mixture and let it cool.
These laddus are light in digestion and give the body immediately energy.

Vegetable spice buttermilk

Material:
2 cups fresh yogurt
1 cup cold water
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp black salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped cucumber
1 tablespoon finely chopped tomatoes
1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
½ tsp grated ginger
2-3 mint leaves (for decoration)

Method:
Blend yogurt and water well in a mixer.
Add all spices and vegetables to it and mix well.
Put mint leaves in a glass and serve cold.
It keeps the body cool, improves digestion and removes the heaviness after Holi.
