There is one mistake that is stopping you from making "every time". Chef and cookbook author Maxwell McCann has shared his trick to achieving the and has pointed out exactly what you should do every time to make sure they are as tasty as they can be. The famed foodie shared a TikTok video to guide us through exactly what to do, and our scrambled eggs are about to become so much tastier.
In his viral video, McCann, who goes by Meals with Max on social media, shows us how to avoid making our scrambled eggs "dry and rubbery" and "get them perfect every time". Scrambled eggs are a staple in many and they can be easy to make, but also easy to mess up. For those of us in a rush, they can be made on a pan in just a few minutes or even in the microwave.
However, they shouldn't be cooked too fast, even if it might be more convenient. McCann says that you need to take your time to cook them on low heat.
He first cracks the eggs and whisks them for about 30 seconds to make sure they and that they cook evenly. Then, he adds it to the pan and mixes continuously. The most important factor, though, is to have your pan on low heat.
If you find the eggs cooking too fast, you can lift it off the hob for a moment. When the eggs are around "75 percent done", you should turn off the hob and let the residual heat finish off cooking the eggs in the pan.
To give the eggs an extra bit of creaminess, he adds a teaspoon of crème fraîche towards the end of the cooking process. Dishing it up onto a piece of toast and finishing it off with chives, he describes the final result as "perfectly creamy scrambled eggs with no rubbery disasters".
