The final result has been released by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board i.e. UPPRPB for more than 60 thousand constable posts. The final result of UP Police Constable Recruitment was released by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board on 13 March 2025. Through this recruitment campaign, candidates will be appointed on a total of 60,244 constable posts. More than 48 lakh candidates had registered for this recruitment. The written examination for this recruitment was conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August. After the written examination, the document verification of the candidates who passed it was done and Physical Standard Test and Physical Fitness Test were conducted. Then finally the merit list was released.

How long will the training be?

Candidates are given necessary training before joining the force. The 60244 candidates selected in this recruitment will have a combined training of 9 months. Initially, one month of preliminary training (JTC) will be conducted in all 75 districts, after which the remaining eight months of training will be done at other centers.

During the training, physical fitness, weapons training and law-related information will be given. During this training, the selected candidates are given training in various aspects of policing, such as physical fitness, weapons training, legal knowledge, community policing and more. Only after completing this training period, the candidates will be given official joining in the department.
