1. Martyrs' Day – March 23, 2025

Punjab will observe a statewide holiday on March 23, 2025, in honor of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence. However, since this day falls on a Sunday, it is already a scheduled public holiday.

2. Eid-ul-Fitr Holiday – March 31, 2025

The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025, and the state government has declared it a public holiday.

3. Extended Weekend – March 30 & 31, 2025

Since March 30 (Sunday) is already a non-working day, the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday on March 31 (Monday) will result in a two-day holiday break for schools, colleges, and government offices.
