Why puberty starts at a young age in modern times

Major causes of puberty premature time

  1. Diet and Nutrition:
    Today's food includes processed foods, unhealthy fats and more sugar, increasing obesity in children. Excess fat in the body increases the production of hormone estrogen, which is a major cause of premature introduction of puberty.

    Basphenol A (BPA) present in plastic products, exposure to fleets and pesticides can negatively affect the hormonal balance of the body, which can lead to premature puberty.

  3. Psychological and emotional stress:
    High stress levels, family problems or father's absence may also be associated with early onset of puberty. Stress can accelerate hormonal changes, allowing periods to come quickly.

  4. Lack of physical activity and screen time:
    Excessive screen time and low physical activity can increase obesity and hormonal imbalance. In addition, the screen may affect the level of melatonin hormone, which helps in controlling puberty.
