Vietnamese runner Luong Thi Loi led nearly 40 participants, including family members and friends, in a 5 km run at Sala, Ho Chi Minh City, for the event.

“Running is not just about reaching the finish line; it’s a journey of discovering inner strength and building connections,” she said.

Loi has made a name for herself on the international stage despite not having a professional sports background. Over the past few years, she has represented Vietnam in various trail-running competitions across Asia. Alongside her achievements in sports, she is also actively engaged in community initiatives.

Family bonding

Thu Vu, a runner at the event, said: “You don’t have to be an athlete to understand the value of running. Sometimes, a small challenge can bring families closer.”

She had long wished to share her passion for running with her mother, and this event provided the perfect opportunity.

At the Logitech event, Vu and her mother became a source of inspiration for other participants. Having previously completed a 10 km race together, this was their second time supporting each other throughout the run. They crossed the finish line with radiant smiles, demonstrating that true connection is not about speed or achievements—it’s about companionship.

“I never thought I could do this so easily. Running with my daughter was so much fun,” Thu’s mother said.

Logitech’s Friday Wellness initiative, with this quarter’s theme Real Connection, was further supported by MUDE, a pioneer in sustainable sportswear in Vietnam, encouraging movement, fitness, and environmental consciousness. MaMaPop, a vitamin C and kombucha-infused sparkling juice brand, also partnered in the event.

Tran Ngoc Bao, Marketing Director of Goody Group, representing MaMaPop, shared that by collaborating with Logitech on the Friday Wellness campaign, they aim to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. “We believe that combining enjoyable experiences with wellness-driven living will create positive value for users,” he said.
