A new township is going to settle in Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of the country. It will be spread over 6,000 acres. In the area where it is about to settle, such a township was settled about 40 years ago and now the government has decided to settle a new city here after nearly 4 decades. People will be available here both residential and commercial plots.
This township is going to settle in the BKT area of Bakshi of Lucknow. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has planned this 6,000 -acre township. A survey of land has also been started for this.
Vice President of LDA Prathamesh Kumar says that the land of 14 villages of BKT area has been identified for this scheme. These include Bhauli, Burumau, Dhatiingra, Gopramau, Laxmipur, Purab Village, Purva, Sarepur, Farrukhabad, Kodari Bhauli, Kamalabad, Kamalapur, Saidapur and Palhari. This township will develop on the road leading from Lucknow to Sitapur.
He said that a committee of 5 senior officers has been formed to speed up the process of land acquisition for the township. Secretary Vivek Srivastava is the chairman of the committee. On March 3, the LDA issued an order to acquire land of these villages.
After nearly 40 years, LDA is going to develop the township once again on Sitapur Road. Earlier, Jankipuram and Jankipuram Extension schemes were developed. With this new scheme, the people of Lucknow will be able to get new residential and commercial plots equipped with modern facilities, which will enable the city to expand rapidly.
Anyway, the Uttar Pradesh government has planned to form a State Capital Region (SCR) by combining some areas of the districts adjacent to Lucknow on the lines of the National Capital Region (NCR). The plan of this new settlement is being considered part of this project.
