Director Prithviraj Sukumaran has now revealed that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was the first to watch his much awaited political thriller L2: Emperan's trailer, which stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the lead role, and he praised Rajinikanth.
On Tuesday, Prithviraj posted a picture of himself with Rajinikanth and wrote, “The first person to see the trailer of #L2E #Puraan.
The release of the film has less than 10 days left, so the makers of the film have intensified the promotional activities. The Censor Board of Film Certification has already approved the film for release with the UA 16+ rating. The certified length of the film is 179.52 meters.
Emoran is a sequel to Lucifer, which emerged as a big success. Prithviraj Sukumaran, in addition to directing the film, is also playing the role of Zayed Masood-Lucifer French in Frenching in the infamous Nexus Qureshi-Abram's hit force commando.
Recalling that the audience was introduced to a complex world in Lucifer, Prithviraj said in a video clip released earlier that in the second part, this complexity would become even deeper.
“The number of characters increases. You will see more settings and landscapes where the story comes out. Prithviraj said that when the first part of Lucifer ended, the audience was introduced to the Khoreshi-Abram underworld mega syndicate, and he felt that no strength in the world was so strong that they could compete with them.
He said, “This was the belief after watching the film? Mohanlal starring L2: Empuran (L2E) is now being jointly produced by Antony Perumbavur, Lica Productions and Sri Gokulam Movies. The story of the film is written by Murali Gopi and its music is given by Deepak Dev. The film is cinematography by Sujit Vasudev and edited by Akhilesh Mohan. The franchise's first film 'Lucifer' released in 2019, which made the first film under the direction of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, became a blockbuster in just eight days. It earned more than Rs 200 crore, which made it the highest grossing Malayalam film ever. Needless to say that expectations have increased significantly from this sequel, which is going to come on screen on 27 March this year.
