1200 -page charge sheet, 72 witnesses and DNA samples… Who is the mastermind of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar Murder?

In the murder case of Bijapur journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, the police has presented the charge sheet in the court. In this, the police have admitted that the master mind of this incident is Suresh Chandrakar. The police have presented other documents including 72 witnesses testimony, DNA sample reports in this charge sheet. It has been claimed that the accused carried out the incident when the irregularity in the construction of Nelsonar-Miratur-Gungalur road was carried out. While presenting the charge sheet, the Chhattisgarh Police has applied for the hearing of the case in the fast track court.

The SIT of the police filed a 1241 -page charge sheet and case diary in the court, besides the mastermind of the incident, Suresh Chandrakar, besides his two brothers Dinesh Chandrakar and Ritesh Chandrakar and another accused Mahendra Ramteke have been accused. According to the SIT, a charge sheet has been presented against the four accused. In this, the role of the four accused in the incident has been mentioned.

Case on disclosing corruption

It has been told that Mukesh Chandrakar had revealed the irregularity being taken in the construction of Nelsonar-Miratur-Gungalur road. This caused heavy losses to the contractor Suresh Chandrakar. Suresh Chandrakar carried out this incident with his two brothers and supervisors. Not only this, the accused put the body in the septic tank after the murder of Mukesh Chandrakar to mislead the police and floated from above. However, after the incident, the police, who came into action, arrested the four accused and sent them to jail within just 72 hours.

Such a charge sheet was prepared

The SIT said that the crime scene was recreated after the arrest of the accused. Along with this, the police, with the help of the forensic team, have gathered the cynific and technical evidence related to the incident and have prepared a strong charge sheet after completing the deliberations. According to the SIT, in addition to the testimony of 72 witnesses in this charge sheet, reports of physical and digital evidence and DNA samples have also been included.
