Udupi/Mangaluru: The SSLC annual examinations will be held from March 21 to April 4 across 51 exam centres in the district. On exam days, prohibitionary orders will be enforced around these centres.

Students appearing for the exam must not wear attire that makes identification difficult. They are required to cooperate with frisking staff and invigilators at the exam centre. Candidates must undergo hand-held metal detector screening. Carrying metal water bottles or non-transparent water bottles inside the exam hall is prohibited.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly banned inside the examination hall. Candidates are also not allowed to bring log tables, handbags, purses, notes, torches, or recording devices. Those wearing hearing aids must produce medical documents and undergo a thorough screening at least two hours before the exam.

The dress code prescribed by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) for its exams will also apply to SSLC candidates, as per a joint statement issued by the district administrations.
