NVIDIA launches RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPU with 96GB memory

NVIDIA has unveiled its latest series of GPUs, the RTX Pro Blackwell. The new lineup is specifically designed to cater to the needs of professionals in fields such as design, development, data science, and creative industries.
The highlight of this series is the RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPU for workstations which boasts an impressive 96GB GDDR7 memory and requires a power supply of 600W.

Tech specs
The RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell GPU comes with PCIe Gen 5 support, DisplayPort 2.1, and the latest generation of RT cores and Tensor cores.
It is specifically designed for workstation use, making it ideal for professionals working in game development, AI workloads, or any other task that requires high VRAM and a fast GPU.
The GPU will also be offered in Max-Q variant and server edition for data centers.
NVIDIA rebrands with new RTX Pro series
Rebranding
NVIDIA is moving to its new RTX Pro branding, ditching the old RTX numbering scheme and Quadro branding.
Along with the flagship, NVIDIA is also introducing the RTX Pro 5000 and RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell in desktop and laptop form factors.
The line-up will also include laptops with models like the 3000, 2000, 1000, and 500 versions with up to 24GB of VRAM.
Laptop GPUs to compete with AMD's Strix Halo chips

The laptop variants of the RTX Pro Blackwell series will take on AMD's Strix Halo chips, which provide an impressive 128GB of unified memory shared between CPU, GPU, and AI engines.
NVIDIA promises its latest Blackwell Max-Q technologies will "intelligently and continually optimize laptop performance and power efficiency with AI."
The RTX Pro 6000 workstation variant will be available from distribution partners like PNY, TD Synnex in April.
