Sarkari Naukri: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced recruitment for the post of Deputy Commandant in the Home Defense Department. The advertisement for this recruitment was released on Tuesday. Online application for this can be done from 24 March to 22 April. The application form has to be filled out by visiting the website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission.

According to the notification, there are a total of four vacancies for the post of Deputy Commandant. There is not a single vacancy for the candidates in the General category. Out of the four posts of Deputy Commandant, two are for SC, one for ST, and one for OBC.

Qualification for the post of Deputy Commandant

To be recruited for the post of Deputy Commandant in Rajasthan, the age should be between 20 to 40 years. Candidates should be former captains of the Army. According to the notification, the candidate should have retired/resigned from the Indian Army by the last date of application.

Former military officers below the rank of Captain cannot apply.

How much salary will be given

After recruitment to the post of Deputy Commandant, salary will be given as per Pay Matrix Level-14, Grade Pay 5400.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the post of Deputy Commandant based on written examination and interview.
