Bhopal: A surprising case has come to light from the new Kajri village in Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh, where both of them were insulted and thrown out of the village after being exposed to the love affair of married woman and man. Both of them left their families a year ago and ran away and recently returned to the village on Holi. On his return, the collective panchayat of four villages ruled that either both should be with their first husband and wife or face punishment. When he denied, he was put out in front of the entire village by wearing a garland of shoes and slippers.

This love story began in a married life, where a love affair between a man and a woman from Kajri village. The woman has two children, while the man has two sons. A year ago, both of them left their families and fled the village. After returning to Holi, a panchayat was called in the village. The panchayat ruled that both of them would either have to return to their old life or face public disrespect. When the two expressed their desire to live together, they were ordered to be expelled from the village.
