Beijing: If you are also worried about charging time, then this concern is going to end. China's well-known company byd has introduced a super fast charging technology that will enable the electric car to cover a distance of 400 km on just 5 minutes of charge. The company founder Wang Chuanfu announced this super e-platform at an event held in Shanezhen recently. With 1000 kW charging speed, this technology will allow car owners to spend exactly the same time at the charging station as it takes to fill the fuel at the petrol pump.
BYD This super e-platform will prove to be a major change in the field of electric vehicles. Its 1000 kw charging capacity is doubled by Tesla's 500 kW speed. This technique will be first seen in HAN L EV sedan and Tang L EV SUV models, which will be launched in April 2025. Both these models will come on the market with 1000V high-voltage systems and 10C charging support. The HAN L EV has an 83.2 kwh LFP battery, which is also found in the already launched in India byd Sealion 7 SUV.

Byd has planned to set up more than 4,000 super-fast charging units in China. Along with these stations, there will also be energy storage facility, so that 1,000 kW charging support can also be available in areas with low power capacity.
HAN L EV and Tang L EV is designed to achieve speeds of 0 to 100 km per hour in 2 seconds. Their prices will be between 32 lakh to 42 lakh rupees. This technique can bring a major change in the global EV market. Actually, this technology of China has left the whole world behind. China has become the first country to develop such technology because no one has any technology to cover a distance of 400 km in 5 minutes of charging. Elon Musk, who contributed significantly to EV's development, has also not given any such technology.
