The application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025) is ongoing on. This process will run till March 22, while the last date for depositing the fees has been fixed as March 23. This year 340 universities have adopted this entrance exam, due to which students will have more options than before to take admission in graduation courses.

UGC Chairman gave this information

UGC Chairman M. Jagadeesh Kumar informed that the pressure on the students will be reduced by conducting a national-level examination through CUET. He said that if there are different entrance exams for different universities, then students have to prepare for many exams, which increases the mental and financial burden. However, this process has become simple and effective with the CUET system.

Participation is increasing every year

According to the UGC chairman, the number of universities adopting CUET has been increasing rapidly in the last few years. This year 340 universities have come under this system, while the total number of universities in India is around 1,180. Every year more institutions than before are accepting this entrance exam, making it more widespread.

When will the CUET UG 2025 exam be held?

CUET UG 2025 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between May 8 and June 1. The exam will be conducted in computer-based (CBT) mode and will be conducted at examination centers across the country. Under this, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages ​​​​English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, and Urdu.
