Photographs from their visit had gone viral on social media showing a woman alongside Mukesh and Isha Ambani. Who Is This Pakistani Woman? The woman is Sharmila Faruqui a well-known Pakistani politician. Sharmila shared three photos on her Instagram stories with Mukesh Ambani holding his granddaughter while posing with her and her family at Disneyland Paris. She had previously posted another photo with Isha Ambani on her Instagram feed. Sharmila Faruqui’s Political Career Dr. Sharmila Sahiba Faruqi is a well-known politician and a member of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardaris Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). She was born on January 25 1978. She was elected to the Sindh Assembly twice. Known for her strong presence in Sindh politics she continues to be a important political figure in Pakistan. Sharmila Faruqui Family Background At 46 Sharmila Faruqui comes from a wealthy and influential political family in Pakistan. His grandfather was N. M. Uqaili a former Finance Minister of Pakistan and uncle was Salman Faruqi a trusted aide of former President Asif Ali Zardari. Her father Usman Faruqi was a PPP leader and former Chairman of Pakistan Steel Mills (1981–1996) who passed away in 2021. However her family was accused of embezzling $1.95 billion from Pakistan Steel Mills. Sharmila’s Education Sharmila holds an MBA from the Adamson Institute of Business Administration and Technology Karachi. She also has a Doctorate in Law completing her Ph.D. in 2023. Sharmila Faruqui’s Marriage  Sharmila Faruqui is married to Hasham Riaz Sheikh a former Wall Street investment banker and advisor to Asif Ali Zardari. Their 2015 wedding was one of the most lavish events in Pakistan which lasted for 15 days. The pre-wedding event had performances by artists like Sukhbir Singh.
