Many actors and actresses in Bollywood have faded into obscurity after appearing in just one or two films. Surprisingly some of them left the industry despite making a successful debut. One such name is Shadaab Khan son of legendary actor Amjad Khan. Shadaab made his Bollywood debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997) alongside Rani Mukerji. The film was well-received by the audience but unlike his father Khan couldn’t establish a lasting career in the industry. After appearing in a few films he gradually disappeared from Bollywood. Today many people wonder what happened to him and where he is now. Rani Mukerjis character in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat was powerful and left a lasting impact which significantly boosted her career. The film is still remembered for Ranis performance while Shadaab received little recognition for his role. In 1997 he appeared in a supporting role in a film starring Chandrachur Singh and Arshad Warsi but his performance went largely unnoticed. Unfortunately despite his efforts Khan never gained the recognition his father Amjad once had. Shadaab also appeared in Hey Ram starring Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan but his small role in the film did not help his career. He later made a cameo in Refugee featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan but that too failed to bring him success. Struggling to make a mark in Bollywood Shadaab eventually decided to step away from acting. After quitting Bollywood he authored a biography of his father Amjad Khan which was launched by none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Shadaab then turned to writing and found success with his novels Shanti Memorial and Murder. He also worked on scripts for several films. Despite leaving Bollywood Shadaab Khan made a brief return with a role in John Abrahams 2019 film Romeo Akbar Walter. His last known appearance was in the critically acclaimed web series Scam 1992 released in 2020.
