Whenever we talk about the biggest actresses of the 90s Ayesha Jhulkas name often pops up. Jhulka became one of the most popular Bollywood heroines of the 90s. She not only captivated audiences in Hindi cinema but also in Bengali Telugu and Kannada films. In her career spanning over three decades Ayesha worked with some of the biggest actors in the industry including Salman Khan Akshay Kumar Govinda and more. Apart from her professional front Ayesha also remained under public glare for her personal life.
Ayesha was reportedly linked to Akshay Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty. However rumours remained rumours and nothing concrete came out of it. Apart from these Ayeshas relationship with Armaan Kohli her co-star in Kohra (1993) and Anaam (1992) also made headlines. Reportedly the actress was serious about Armaan and the two were supposed to get married.
However their relationship started to witness a downfall. As a result Ayesha also started to experience a decline in her career. Further reports claim that the actress stopped signing movies. In an interview with Leher Ayesha opened up about her relationship with Armaan and said Maine filmein sign karna bandh kar diya tha kyunki main shaadi karne wali thi but there are no plans for marriage and I’m back here. (I stopped signing films as I was going to get married but now there are no marriage plans so I am back here).
In 2003 Ayesha once again found love. She met construction tycoon Sameer Vashi through her mother. Jhulka and Vashi tied the knot in the same year and decided not to have children. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble Ayesha said that her husband and family are supportive of the decision.
Did you know that Ayesha along with her husband has adopted two villages in Gujarat? They are actively involved in supporting the communities there taking care of the food and education of 160 children.
