As we all know the Aadhar card is an important document for Indians, which is used for various tasks like opening accounts in various banks, getting SIM card, taking admission in college and school, etc. In such a situation, it is necessary for us to have this important document, but many people have difficulty in providing biometric data due to lack of fingerprint.

The new guidelines are designed to accommodate individuals with special circumstances, such as missing fingers or lack of iris biometrics, ensuring that they can still register for Aadhaar and get a unique identification number, let's know its process-

Iris scanning as an option: People who are unable to provide fingerprints for various reasons can now register for Aadhaar by scanning their iris pupils. This provides a viable biometric option.

When both biometrics are unavailable: For individuals who cannot provide either iris scan or fingerprint, the government has introduced an exception process. In such cases, a simplified Aadhaar card will be issued based on the available biometrics, if any, such as a photograph.

Exceptional enrolment process: In cases where neither iris nor fingerprint biometrics are available, the process involves exceptional enrolment. This special process ensures that the individual's details are captured, and the missing biometrics are noted in the system.
