Chewing leaves on empty stomach has many benefits

Chewing leaves of Sada Suhagan, which are full of medicinal properties, on empty stomach in the morning provides many benefits. Dr Pramod Anand Tiwari, BAMS, MD of Babe's Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Punjab, talked about the properties, importance and benefits of Sada Suhagan. He told about these small flowers that the leaves of the flower of Sadabahar are full of medicinal properties and it is known as Sadapusha in Ayurveda. Along with the roots, bark and leaves of Sadabahar, the flowers also have many properties. Its roots increase insulin production, which provides relief to the diabetic patient. He told, "Metabolism is strengthened and cholesterol level is managed. Consuming the leaves every morning on an empty stomach not only controls diabetes, but also provides great relief to asthma patients." Dr Tiwari told that an element called alkaloid is found in Sadapusha, which produces insulin. Apart from this, it is also used in making many medicines. If your blood pressure is often disturbed, then you must consume four to five leaves of Sadasuhagan, it contains anti-oxidants, which control it and it also increases immunity.

Panacea for respiratory diseases

Dr Pramod has also shed light on how Sadabahar should be consumed. He told that four to five leaves of Sadabahar should be chewed on an empty stomach in the morning. If you consume flowers or leaves with hot water, it is even more beneficial. Its powder is also available in the market, which can be used. Dr Pramod said that today's lifestyle has become very stressful, as a result, insomnia or sleeplessness has become a common problem, which is the cause of many major diseases. In such a situation, the use of Sadabahar is very beneficial. Ayurvedacharya recommends the use of Sadasuhagan for respiratory problems or diabetes as well as digestive problems. The decoction of its leaves gives relief from cold, cough and fever. Apart from this, it also gives relief in teeth and gum problems.
