Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced recruitment for 199 posts of Junior Clerk under Group C. The process of online application for this vacancy has started from 18 March 2025 and interested candidates can apply till 17 April 2025 through the official website of BHU bhu.ac.in.

BHU has announced a total of 199 posts. Of these, the maximum posts are for the general category. Apart from this, adequate posts are also reserved for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and Divyang category. This has opened the doors of opportunity for the youth of different sections.

Essential Educational Qualification

The candidate applying for this recruitment must be a second class graduate from a recognized institute. Also, 6 months of computer training should be taken in office automation, book keeping and word processing. If the candidate has a second class diploma in computer recognized by AICTE, then they can also apply.

Age Limit

Talking about the age limit, the age of the general category candidate should be between 18 to 30 years. The maximum age limit for OBC category candidates has been kept at 33 years, while for SC/ST category this limit is fixed up to 35 years.

Selection will be done like this

Candidates will be selected through a prescribed examination process. In the first phase there will be a written examination, in which the successful candidates will have to give typing test or skill test.
