If you want to educate your child in Kendriya Vidyalaya, then do not miss this opportunity. The online application process for admission in KVS class 1 and Balvatika 1,3 was going to close today, which has now been extended. This information has been given through a notice, the notice said that in such a situation, the parents or parents who want to educate their child in KVS, must now get their child registered by 10 am on March 24 by visiting the official website kvsangathan.nic.in.

According to the new schedule, the draw will now be released on March 28 instead of the previously announced March 26. To make the process smooth and systematic, the draw will be held in different time slots in different areas.

The official notice reads, "In continuation of this office letter No. dated 05.03.2025 regarding new admissions in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the academic year 2025-26, it is notified that the last date for online registration and submission of application forms for Balvatika-I & 3 (wherever applicable) has been extended up to 24.03.2025 (till 10:00 PM). Further, the draw of lottery for Balvatika-I & 3 (wherever applicable) is now scheduled to be held on 28.03.2025 instead of 26.03.2025 as earlier informed vide KVS (HQ) letter dated 17.03.2025." Delhi, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Raipur - 9:30 am to 10:30 am

Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Dehradun - 10:30 am to 11:30 am

Agra, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Ranchi - 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Chandigarh, Ernakulam, Gurugram, Jaipur - 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

Age Limit

For admission in Balvatika-1, the age of the students should be minimum 3 years and maximum 4 years.

For admission in Balvatika-2, the age of the students should be minimum 4 years and maximum 5 years.

For admission in Balvatika 3, the minimum age of the students should be 5 years and maximum age should be 6 years.

For admission in class 1, the minimum age of the student should be 6 years and maximum age should be 8 years.

A valid mobile number with Indian number

A valid email address

Digital photo or scanned photo of the child seeking admission in KVS (JPEG file of maximum 256KB size)

Scanned copy of child's date of birth certificate, address proof (JPEG or PDF file of size)

If you are from SC, ST and OBC category, then scanned copy of caste certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size)

EWS certificate if you are applying under economically weaker section

Transfer details of parents/grandparents whose job certificate will be used in the application
