Ranchi: The weather patterns have changed in Jharkhand. On Thursday, thunderstorms started in many parts of the state including the capital Ranchi. At around ten o'clock on Friday morning, the sky of Ranchi received black clouds and heavy rains. Many parts of the state including the capital received rain for half an hour.

Several parts of the state including Garhwa, Palamu, Lohardaga, Dhanbad, Simdega, Giridih, Deoghar, Gumla, Kolhan received rains amidst the strong roaring and winds of the cloud. According to the Meteorological Department, this period of rain will remain till 23 March. The weather patterns have changed due to moist winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and the influence of low pressure area.
