Police made a shocking revelation in the case of murder of 50-year-old Ramashish Bind in the wasteland of Mukhrao village of Kaimur district of Bihar. Police arrested the deceased's elder daughter-in-law Gudiya Devi's husband Kunj Bihari Bind on the charge of murder. He was then arrested and presented in the court, from where he was sent to Bhabua jail. The father-in-law was pressuring the accused daughter-in-law for an illicit relationship. This became the main reason for the murder. Fed up, Gudiya killed her father-in-law.
Police station in-charge Ruby Kumari said that the call details of Ramashish Bind's mobile phone recovered from the crime scene were obtained. Investigation revealed that the call was made around 5 am. This call became a strong link for the disclosure. During interrogation, Gudiya told the police that she had an affair with another boy. When her father-in-law came to know about this, he also started demanding an illicit relationship. The daughter-in-law opposed this but the father-in-law was not agreeing. Gudiya also informed her mother-in-law and sister-in-law about this but everyone started blaming her. Gudiya's husband lived outside.
Gudiya came to her maternal home on Holi but her father-in-law kept on calling her and pressuring her to meet him. Finally Gudiya made a plan to kill him. According to the plan, she left her maternal home for Mukhrao at 3 o'clock on Tuesday. At 7 in the evening, her father-in-law went to Khiri village in Buxar district to pick her up. Her father-in-law took her to a gram field on the banks of the river. During this time, he had sex with Gudiya. Gudiya killed her father-in-law as soon as she got the chance. Then she came to her maternal home from there. She changed her clothes and reached her in-laws' house Mukhrao in the afternoon and started mourning the death of her father-in-law. However, the police suspect the involvement of other people in the murder. The police is still investigating this case.
