New Delhi. The country's Home Minister Amit Shah today spoke on all the issues including Pakistan, terrorism and Kashmir in his address in the Rajya Sabha. Shah said, will not allow terrorism supported by political ideology in the country. He said that I say responsibly in this House that Naxalism in this country will end by 31 March 2026. Along with this, he paid tribute to the state police and central paramilitary forces who sacrificed their supreme sacrifice to strengthen the borders of the country.
The Home Minister said, I will first talk about Kashmir. Terrorists from the neighboring country used to enter Kashmir, they used to do bombings and murders here. There was no festival celebrated without any concern. The attitude of the Congress leadership central government was flexible. He used to remain silent and feared speaking, he was worried about his vote bank. After PM Narendra Modi came to power, we adopted a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism. Uri and Pulwama were attacked after coming to power but within 10 days, we entered Pakistan and responded to them via aerkrike and surgical strikes. The policy of zero tolerance against terrorism started from there. Article 370 was the basis of separatism in Kashmir, but Article 370 was removed in Parliament on 5 August 2019.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “We seized several crore rupees nourishing terrorism, Naxalism, registered PMLA cases and sent his funding to jail.” Constant meetings were held between the state and the central governments. At my level, I held 11 meetings with all the Chief Ministers and 12 meetings with DGP. We made a dynamic strategy and deployed security forces at strategic places.
Shah said, “We found a solution with Artificial Intelligence, found out the results and analyzed data to strategically equipped our security forces. Based on this, he carried out his operation effectively. The Home Minister said, we all know that we have got freedom after a long struggle. Although any government was formed by the Congress, it cannot bring development everywhere within 5-25 years. We are trying, although some areas must have been left behind, but this does not mean that we disregard the system, the constitution and the government keeps looking helpless and thousands of people continue to be sacrificed.
Amit Shah said that the 2024 Lok Sabha election was concluded in a peaceful manner, in which not a single bullet was fired and there was no complaint of booth rigging. There was a time when political leaders from Delhi used to return only with a certificate of victory, while people lived in homes due to fear. Today, 98 percent of the voters participate in the election of complaints or violence without any booth rigging.
