Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, attended the Investors Meet on Saturday in preparation for the future Mega Textile and Apparel Park.

Under the PM Mitra Yojana, this project will be built on 1,000 acres near the Lucknow-Hardoi border. The program seeks to strengthen UP’s standing as a major investment center while promoting industrial development in the textile industry.

CM Yogi emphasized the state’s dedication to investor-friendly policies while speaking to the crowd during the occasion.

“Hundreds of investors who have already started manufacturing have received incentives. “All incentives are offered within the policy framework thanks to our online system,” he said.
He said that Uttar Pradesh is the first Indian state to systematically use social incentives for investment. Investors in the industry have already benefited from the 2022 textile strategy, demonstrating the state’s commitment to keeping its word.

Additionally, CM Yogi emphasized the historical relevance of Uttar Pradesh’s textile sector, highlighting the old commerce and handicraft hubs of Varanasi and Ayodhya.

The textile traditions of Ayodhya and Kansi, two of the oldest towns in the world, go back thousands of years. The Banarasi saree is still a favorite across the world, and Bhagoli and Mirzapur are still known for their silk,” he remarked.
He said that the thriving handloom and textile industries in Ayodhya’s Ambedkar Nagar are well-known.

It is anticipated that the construction of the Mega Textile Park would increase employment and solidify Uttar Pradesh’s position as India’s top textile production state.

In order to create a comprehensive textile value chain from fiber to completed product and increase India’s competitiveness in the global textile market, the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) program seeks to construct an integrated, large-scale, and contemporary textile industrial infrastructure.

CM Yogi opened a new soft drink bottling facility in the Ayodhya district earlier on Friday.
CM Yogi also commended the “double engine” administration in his speech, alluding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s excellent coordination between the federal and state governments.

“Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government has made Ayodhya the country’s first solar city and equipped the plant with solar panels of 15 megawatts that will help reduce carbon emissions and combat global warming,” the chief minister stated.

“The new soft drink bottling plant is expected to provide a boost to local employment, benefiting both the local workforce and its operations. It will not only fulfill the demand for soft drinks in Uttar Pradesh but also in the neighboring states of Bihar and Uttarakhand,” he said.

Before this, CM Yogi spoke at the Mukhyamantri Yuva Uddyaami Vikas Abhiyaan (MYUVA) event and claimed that under BJP rule, law and order in Uttar Pradesh had changed dramatically. The state, which had previously experienced “riots,” was now a center of joyous celebrations that drew followers from all over the nation and the world.

The Chief Minister emphasized that in addition to promoting cultural heritage, these joyous festivities in places like Kashi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot have created job possibilities for a large number of people.

Uttar Pradesh has reached the rate of growth in the last ten years, according to CM Yogi.

In a subtle jab at the opposition, Chief Minister Yogi said that all the obstacles impeding Uttar Pradesh’s progress had been taken down and that the state’s young were now finding work.
